Perfect Shooting Form
I got a cool moulded Splint today for SGD 41.95. Not only does it allow me to have support for my fractured elbow, it is going to give me the PERFECT SHOOTING FORM! For basketball that is.
Reasons why I will have the perfect jump shot in no time:
- My arm is locked in a 90 degree right angle. Perfect setup in a triple threat position with the ball in the shot pocket.
- My palm cannot face outward. This ensures that my left hand will not ‘assist’ the shot and add another vector to the movement, thereby causing there to be consistancies in the direction of the shot. Perfect assist position.
The only problem is that I usually shoot with my left arm, now in a splint. Nuts. Oh well. I’ve also decided that I’m going to right handed from now on. And then ‘amphibious’ when my left arm is better.
